Singing Brook Summer Arts Camp

Monday to Thursday - Camp runs 9am – 3pm with after-hours care available until 5pm.

 

Friday - Camp runs 9am - 5pm with a "Family and Friends" end-of-week performance starting at 5pm.

 

Campers are divided into approximately five groups based upon age (e.g., 4 & 5 year olds, 6 & 7 year olds, 8 & 9 year olds, 10 & 11 year olds, 12+ years). Each group is supervised at all times by at least one counsellor and one counsellor-in-training. A maximum of 40 campers will be accepted each week providing a staff: camper ratio of 1:3.

Groups travel through six rotations: Drama, Dance, Singing, Crafts, Sports and Science & Nature.

Camp Schedule (9am – 3pm)

8:30-9:00      Drop off and sign-in
9:00-9:30      Song circle
9:30-10:15    First set of rotations (3 stations)
10:15-10:45  Snack (brought from home)
10:45-11:30  Second set of rotations (3 stations)
11:30-12:30  Lunch (brought from home)
12:30–1:00   Group/team building activities
1:00–1:45     Electives
1:45–2:30     Group Game
2:30–3:00     Last Snack & spirit awards (supplied by camp)
3:00              Pick up

After hours care is available until 5:00 pm.

Campers should bring their own well-labeled morning snack and lunch. Afternoon snack and drink will be provided. Water bottles for use throughout the day are advised. Please note we are a NUT-FREE camp.

Campers should wear comfortable clothes suitable for the weather, a sun hat, sun screen and insect repellant. Rubber boots would be best for hiking and wet days.
